Wow! Eight of us who traveled from Maryland had dinner at Helen's. The food was great, the service from Lisa was wonderful, and the prices were good. We will definitely be back next time. Everything was perfect. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Helen's Of Ellsworth:
The food is good. I would recommend the Clam Chowder and Fish Tacos Not get the seafood Chowder. Everything else is subpar. I would also suggest trying Lobster Rolls somewhere else. The blueberry cake was good. Overall, the restaurant setting and service was good, although only shaded by Bland Food. View all feedback.
Good no frills local diner food. Friendly service from Jordan who has a nearby pond named after him. Look for the dog pictures, they're not to be missed.
It was ok. Wasn't anything special. Nothing really bad. Just nothing wowed me about it.
They were very busy but still had our takeout done within 20 minutes. We had 2 captains platters, food was delicious. Next time we are in the area we will be stopping again for sure.
Food was nothing to write home about. Edible back lacked any real flavor. This place would be fine if you lacked any other options, but if you like your food to be flavorful, this can be a pass.
Ate there on Saturday and return to the Mother's Day buffet on Sunday. Eat is well cooked, as to make mother earlier. had pot roasted, roasted chicken, huhn marsala, green bean casserole, seafood alfredo bark tips, mais, garlic mixed vegetables and cartoffels with speck. all well. and then there are their cakes. the cocose cream should die. the chocolate cream is great and the mixed berry and cherry also look good. the service was very good and both server were very polite
