Yes, this is the place you want for tacos and burritos! We stopped in while driving across the country. I had the shrimp cocktail and the flavor was nice and mildly spicy (like a ****** mary) with hard flat corn tortillas (tostadas). The carnitas were crispy and tasty! The beans were super good too, my friend ordered the Chile verde plate and when it came out it turned everyone’s head at the table. Everything though... View all feedback.
What Angel Velez doesn't like about Rigobertos:
The worst mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The TV is cranked up playing cowboy western shows. It literally took 25 minutes for a Carne asada burrito. Weird place. View all feedback.
The tacos at Rigobertos taste so delicious that they made me afraid that I would forget how delicious the tacos taste at Rigobertos.
Staying across from this restaurant while visiting for a couple of days and decided to give it a try. Staff was friendly but the food was not good. We ordered super nachos with no meat, side of fries and adobada torta. Let’s start with the nachos, the pico was over powered by the amount of onions, the small amount of cheese was hard and melted to the styrofoam Container, the guacamole looked like smashed avocados with no flavor. Side of fries were soggy, oily and under cooked, the torta had a massive amount of flavorless beans, smashed avocado sauce, a couple of onions, and what I believe was mayo and the adobada was under seasoned. (Taco Bell’s tacos have more flavor) There was more fat content on the torta than there was actual meat. Everything was lacking flavor. As far as the sides of green and red salsa let’s just say don’t waste your time on them. Over salty, lacking flavor and watered down. I hope this is useful for some of you as I was am a chef and have owned my own catering company (Mexican Cuisine) along with my wife and family with two authentic Mexican restaurants. Remember looks can be deceiving. But if you want to try it for yourself and waste your money then by all means give it a try. Everyone’s pallet is not the same. You be your own judge.
The food and service were fabulous. The music and the singing cook was a treat too! Looking forward to it again!
Absolutely the best breakfast burrito in northern Nevada!
A California burrito that had no meat and a gallon of sour cream
