Dino's - Elizabethton

I would have given Dino's a 5 except for some annoyances and complaints. I don't see why the check needs to be paid at the register instead of a more usual server pickup of payment at the table. There's no perceptible difference in time spent by the server making a patron wait at the register. It's also demeaning and inconvenient for the patron and less classy for the restaurant image. Why add gravy to mashed potatoes when a customer asks only for butter? Not asking the customer if gravy is wanted is inattentive and borderline rude. I need my beef cooked rare. I've been eating it that way for 70+ years at restaurants and at home with no problems. Other restaurants do it for me. Why not you? Parking: Street parking only as far as I know. If any other businesses are busy you're out of luck.

The food was priced, ok? The sauce seemed bland, not much flavor. Portions kinda small. Has the spaghetti with sausage. Pry rate 3.5-4 outa 10. Service was fair, although did seem overly friendly.

Excellent local small town restaurant. We always have a great meal and service here! Wait-staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is always hot and delicious. Lasagna is the best too, and kids love the Italian chicken strips.

This is one of those local landmarks. A broad variety of options, all tasty. Staff is always fantastic. When we came every Wednesday with my Great Uncle for Spaghetti and meatballs, they had our table with drinks, and food ready before we could get comfy. Treated Uncle Ray 'm like a king. Had his take bag ready, again without asking. For over two years, without fail. Food is good, laid back super casual atmosphere. To go orders as well. So every reason to support a local business, good food, good people, good experience. (Oh yeah, no hassle parking in back). Definitely will keep going back. As should you. Parking: Street and additional parking around back. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible from front door only, Plenty of room at tables or booths for scooters or wheelchairs.

Very old restaurant, claims first lasagna in Elizabethton. Packed on Friday, Saturday night.
