Zaxbys - Elizabeth City

A somewhat larger version of the place that also introduced me this chain. Super clean, friendly staff and good food. Although, this visit made me aware that more than a few of my favorites go away. I hope this is limited to this place or area.

I love her fried chicken fingers and Cobb Zalad (aka salad). The lash sauce for the fingers is the best for those who like buffalo sauce that do not burn your mouth. Her pommes seem to be undermined most of the time. For their Zalads, I wish there was an option on the app to put the hot chicken bread on the side as it wilt the salad. You can only apply for this personally when ordering. You need to check your order before you leave. I made this mistake too often. I recently ordered a 10 piece of finger and came home and had no sauce. I also ordered 3 cookies and they were not in the bag. I live 20 minutes away, so it's not going back the same day. I also wanted to use my rewards (5 pc Tenders Birthday Cookies). Unfortunately I threw them on the app and it was not credited to my online order. I asked the female manager to help him, but she gave me the wrong instructions. I contacted the customer service and received an email that they would hire it directly during my next visit. The restaurant is clean COVID precautions taken. Most of the staff I met were polite.

I only visited this store 4 times since they opened the 2 times before my last visit was not good, the food was moderate, the price was exaggerated, and the service was bad, very unfriendly... while we decided with my daughter to give him another shot, and I was very surprised! the service was great! very helpful and friendly young man, the food was hot and tasty and the price was not bad at all. was very satisfied with my experience... I will not wait so long between visits next time.

Great chicken and service, especially on the drive thru!! Since the closeness of work, I've definitely been back.
