Coleman's Bbq Elgin

Lord have mercy! Those ribs are a hit. Love the smoke taste with all the different textures. Chicken was a hit. Get them extra sauced up. Can't wait to try the catfish and perch next.

I tried calling several times in Aug and the phone just rings. Last Friday, I drove by and sign said closed and another name coming soon. I'm sorry to see them closed, but they could have least updated the phone with a nice message. Oh well, food was always hit or miss.

Ordering from here made me realize the difference from out here in Elgin and the city you can not order out here like you do in the city I ordered from here through Ubereats My order consist of large fries with mild sauce 2 hungry woman meals that consist of fish shrimp and chicken wings I asked for them to fry it hard with lemon pepper they fried it hard actually they refried it I mean it was so hard there was no meat on any of it esp the chicken and they didnt include the lemon pepper the only thing that was good was the large fries and all of it was cold when I received it I will never I mean never order from here ever again

They're selling a medium for a large. I went back because I ordered a large and got home and it wasn't a large at all. I have bought BBQ from there 6 years. And you don't get what you pay for. It's a rip off now. Two people can hardly eat out of it. SHAME SHAME. Ripping people off.
