First time there. Celebrated mother's day on Saturday. Our waitress zerelda was very attentive to our needs. The food was perfect, wife, daughters, son and grand kid loved it. No complaints from any of us. We all tried a variety of plates and all very well prepared and very tasty. Atmosphere was very nice. Plan on going back again. View all feedback.
What mpk l doesn't like about Thyme Matters:
Thyme Matters, in West El Paso, has been around a few years. The menu has an Italian flair, yet offers steak, salads, sandwiches, and more. On a recent trip, I tried the Vitello. This is a veal tenderloin and linguini and greens. The veal was a bit chewy and the pasta a bit too Al Dente. The asparagus could have used a bit more time over heat as well. The chicken Saltimbocca, on the other-hand, was very nice. A $15 m... View all feedback.
Our mojitos were basically limeade with mint. The “jumbo” shrimp were an intentional oxymoron and to top it off, they were burnt. The carrot cake could be compared to an overrated bread pudding. The best part of our meal were the tostadas that were served with ceviche. We came here for a date night but ended up feeling disappointed due to the pretentious atmosphere and poor food experience.
Classy place with great wine selection and beautiful atmosphere. The wine cellar is way cooler than the more entrenched fine dining places. Great prices considering the quality of food and service. I recommend the linguine with clams, very tasty. Perfect for a date night!
Our family has been a long time customer of this place! It was in need of tlc and once it got under new ownership the place took a 180 , not only is the food good but the place is so much nicer now! I tried the chicken peanut curry and it was delicious!
The chicken parmesan was fantastic and we also really enjoyed the sauteed tilapia, both dishes were savory and had excellent plating. We needed a break from Tex-Mex. The service from our waiter was top-notch and the atmosphere was slightly upscale, but still relaxed. Will definitely visit again.
On Saturday February 24th my family and I went to have dinner. At the time we got the bill we noticed something was wrong, we paid and left. The food was okay, but the drinks were something else. We were charged $3.50 for 2 olives; for mixing a mojito we were charged $2.93; for a serving of bread $3.00. I think that if you want this restaurant to succeed, you should put these petty charges in a way the customer doesn’t see how ridiculous appear in the final bill. And you should check the spelling in the name of the restaurant outside. The word is “cuisine”.
