We definitely loved homemade corn and flour tortillas, red salsa. The chorizo and egg bacon and egg were good but they need to add more chorizo and bacon because all we could taste was egg instead of meat. Coffee great aroma and taste to me. We definitely will be back and try different food plus ladies are super friendly, nice and sweet smiles ? ? ???? View all feedback.
What Angel Reyna doesn't like about Laura's Cafe:
It’s very disappointing that the place has great food and potential but service is poorly and rude. There was a complaint about a plate we got and the WAITER got so upset and almost disrespectful because of the mistakes they did. We didn’t finish our food and left because of how rude, and disrespectful she was. Very sad. View all feedback.
Laura’s cafe did amazing yesterday! We knew it was going to be busy being it was graduation day so we placed a big order for when after graduation was over. The food was amazing and there was more than enough food to go around! Thank you again Sindy! Highly recommend!

Driving through El Campo for the first time on the way to the beach and every single restaurant in town had ZERO cars in the parking lot! The only places that were busy were the same ol fast food joints in every toen. As we approached the south side of town near 59 we found this little gem! We were towing a camper and we needed plenty of space to drive through a parking lot. There were a few cars in the parking lot too indicating there were just more than employees here and still plenty of room to pull through with a truck and camper. As mentioned in other reviews the restaurant does look dark from the outside but that's probably because of the tint on the windows to keep it cooler in the summertime. The restaurant is small but very clean and the two servers handled all the tables very well! Our food took less than 15 minutes to come out and it was delicious! My son got the bean and cheese nachos which were just okay but perfect for a child. I got the smothered chicken with crawfish and shrimp which was very delicious! It's hard to cook chicken breasts and it not be dry. The chef here cooked the chicken to the right temp to keep it moist which made it fork tender. If you're driving through El Campo or if you're looking for a stop right off of highway 59 this is your place to go for good Tex Mex!Oh and top of it all....the Modelo was only $5!
The food is acceptable but the service is very bad, the girl who served us was angry, the cucos were much better.
Good tex-mex but a pretty steep price. The building is always clean, staff is always friendly, service is good. Plenty of choices on the menu. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: Good access for a wheelchair
