Carnitas Tio Juan - El Cajon

I've been here for years and that always meets the point. Amazing eating and great staff

My wife heard about this place by a friend so she wanted to bring me to lunch. Appetizer-ceviche wasn't it. they used key limes that have a very much.

It was okay, nothing you can ask about. I live in central florida and the authentic Mexican restaurants that are here have better aromen than I.

We got there at 10:40AM and ordered breakfast but the owner came out and said sorry not sorry. Can't serve breakfast.. Los Rancheritos serves breakfast all day and is a smaller restaurant. The owner went on about the grill full of meat. ???? Buyanother grill so u can serve breakfast. Sundays people wake up late.. very rude as well.

Almost like home but short staffed. The food tasted almost as good as one would have at home and the portions are substantiality large. However, they are short staffed, just as they claim from the time you enter (pictured). One waiter for 8tables. I ordered carnitas torta but got the carnitas plate, brought all food at the same time including appetizers (pictured)so everything was eaten rather cold. Waiter never came back to check on the table or remove plates (pictured). Very good foodbut you will need patience and understanding for your visit.
