Lovely cakes and lovely staff. Felt really comfortable here in this cosy cafe and the strawberry and cream cake was the best, lemon drizzle was good too. I bought scones and the custard cream blondie to take away. They were delicious too. View all feedback.
I went to the cafe at 1pm and found it to be almost full with both tourists and locals. There was plenty of car parking available. You order your food at the counter and it is delivered to your table. They offer sandwiches and paninis with various fillings, as well as daily specials, homemade soup, teas, and home baked cakes. The food was very tasty and the portions were a good size. For example, 2 daily specials and 2 teas came to £14. The staff provided friendly service.
Such a fantastic community cafe! The homemade soup and scones with strawberries were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and engaging, sharing about local places and events. We appreciated arriving early for lunch when it wasn't too busy, and were warmly welcomed. We enjoyed our visit so much that we returned for a second time. The museum next door was also excellent. Congratulations to the entire team for a job well done!
We stopped by this restaurant when visiting the Iron Age house and had an excellent meal. The staff was friendly and made the experience a pleasure. Afterward, we visited the museum next door which was also very good.
Called for lunch after a lovely morning on Bosta beach. Food was delicious and service lovely. Very pleasant customers, most of whom were locals Thoroughly enjoyed our visit
Dropped in for coffee and scones. I dropped one of my strawberries and they gave me two new ones. The strawberries grown locally were wonderful. It is a lovely cafe with very friendly staff.
