Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria - Edmonton

My daughter wanted to return to Famoso Albert Trail after a pandemic absence. We ordered the small pizzas salad. I also ordered a 5oz glass of chianti. The waiter repeated our order back to us twice. When the bill came I was charged for a 9oz glass of pinot grigio...about double the price! I noted the error the waiter adjusted the bill. Honest mistake? Not sure. My daughter said the food was as good as before. The restaurant was dead empty at about 6PM.

Been there last week, the place is a bit run down, there was some kind of repairs going on because because it was very noisy behind the counter , people were coming in and out talking loud around us didn’t really care that we were eating .. now the pizza .. it was good but very dry , it was like they were running out of sauce , the pepperoni was all in the middle and the sides were empty .. the server was nice and polite but too busy cleaning, no Parmesan or chilli peppers on the tables .. overall, would probably return but I hope they will improve

Service was great, friendly staff. I found the table felt a little grungy like the finish had been destroyed from cleaning it. The chairs were very worn old looking and the chandeliers had globs of dust overhead. Aside from the appearance of the restaurant the food was very good. But I’ve visited cleaner nicer Famoso restaurants so I will not be back to this one.

Great place for lunch. Good selection and their tomato bisque soup is excellent. Friendly staff and good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Ok food, menu is fairly limited for a Pizzeria. Went here for my daughter's birthday, party of 5 of us, service was fairly good, took a while for food, food came out one by one order, forgot about one appetizer, they did bring it out with the meal and didn't charge for it, nice touch.
