I went to the restaurant for dinner on a Tuesday evening to take advantage of the half-price seafood tower deal. The service was excellent, the wine menu was impressive, and the food was very good. However, they were short-staffed and busy, so our table was not cleared, which was a disappointing way to end an otherwise enjoyable meal. View all feedback.
What Courtney Cornelius doesn't like about Match Eatery and Public House - Edmonton Ice District:
Great atmosphere however, we waited 45 minutes between our appetizer and main meal. The main finally arrived and was covered in salt. We were almost late for our event due to the dinning experience taking 2 hours. This location just re-opened and I believe that was some of the issue. We will try again but give ourselves a 2.5 hour window. Our server was great, the issue was from the kitchen. View all feedback.

After researching all the reviews, my expectations were high for this restaurant, and I can confidently say that I was not let down. Gustavo warmly led us to our table, and our waiter, Yoshi, was incredibly gracious. Upon introducing himself, Yoshi inquired if we were celebrating a special occasion. I mentioned it was my birthday, and he kindly offered to treat us to dessert. He efficiently took our drink orders and brought them out along with warm pan bread and blue cheese butter. Yoshi carefully went over the menu with us, which was greatly appreciated. Our meal began with fresh oysters and delicious bruschetta. For our entrees, we ordered steak, which was cooked to perfection. Throughout the evening, our glasses were always filled, and we were promptly checked on after each course. I had mistakenly requested the wrong toppings for my steak, wanting crab and Bearnaise sauce instead. Yoshi promptly rectified my error without hesitation. To top off the evening, my birthday dessert arrived with a sparkler and a smile. It was a delightful experience to have such high-quality dining at this casino located in W.E.M. I would gladly return to this restaurant and recommend it to others.
My friends and I love to celebrate special occasions at Atlas because it's always a fantastic time. We have booked the private dining room for a birthday and the service, atmosphere, food, and view were nothing less than exceptional. The room alone is stunning and has a view overlooking the entire casino. It has a private washroom, TV's, a coat rack, and impeccable service. For New Year's Eve 8 of us booked a table for their NYE set menu. They had a choice of a 3 or 5-course dinner. We all chose 3 because we know not one of us would have been able to eat 5, however, after having the meal I do regret not getting the 5 because the food was so good. It was a really good deal for what we got and everything was so elegant. The service was amazing as always, and Sandeep is always great at making us feel really special. The cocktails are wonderful as well! Afterward, we headed down to the casino where we rang in the New Year in a fun atmosphere with free bubbly and noisemakers/hats.
A group of us booked a table for New Year's Eve. Seating arrangements were okay. The place is somewhat loud, it's located upstairs in the Casino and is open to below. It took the waiter a good 20 minutes to show up and take our orders. The appetizers arrived more than an hour later. There is no bread on the table or anything to tide you over. We were all anticipating a big evening meal and arrived hungry. At one point we considered phoning Skip the Dishes to tide us over. Appetizers were tasty but very small portions. We waited another hour for the main entrees. Again, the food was good but very moderate portions for the price. Desserts arrived a bit quicker, maybe half an hour after the mains. Waiter was not attentive, got some orders wrong. Overall this place is overpriced, too loud and has very, very poor service. Will not return.
WOW what an amazing evening we had at Atlas steak and fish. I had inadvertently booked a table at another restaurant that was in Naples Florida. My wife who was not impressed found Atlas Steak and Fish online and I quickly made a reservation. We arrived a little early and as we headed up the elevator I inquired about how to get to the restaurant. The security guard gave us directions but I immediately was sceptical . Got to the top of the escalator looked for the “ lighted stairs”. We were lost but then a voice says can I help you. One of the waitresses from the restaurant heard us ask for directions- followed us up the stairs and offered to show us the way. Angel no. 1 We were shown to our table and our waitress Taryn brought us 2 cocktails and then went to get a bottle of wine I had ordered. Angel no. 2 She returned empty handed so I asked for some help to order wine. She returned with a waiter in tow and he suggested a Chardonnay that had a little Viognier in it. Smoky , inexpensive and totally complimented our meal. Angel number 3. The appetizers were huge and delicious. The cocktail sauce for the jumbo prawns had a hint of gin- SUPERB! We both had linguini with clams. Huge portions, lots of clams , mesmerizing sauce. Shortly after we finished the maître de arrived to inquire how the meal was. He offered a complimentary dessert it was my wife’s birthday) but we opted to split one- remember portions are huge. Angel number 4. What a find we have made . The decor is excellent- service is exceptional, food is to die for, portions- well you will not go away hungry. Price definitely in my range . We will return- thank you ANGELS oops I mean ATLAS for a memorable evening. Al M
