Subway - EDISTO ISLAND

We walked into the Subway at Edisto enmark gas station at 9:30 pm. There was noone to be seen in the counter area. The sign and online said that they served until 11pm. Another sign said to ring the yellow bell for service. The bell was way behind the counter so I said, Hello! I went to the gas station counter and asked how late Subway was open. They said they didn 't know. I went back to the Subway counter and a guy emerges slowly from the back. I said hello and asked if we could get some sandwiches. He said that they were closed. I asked how late they normally were open and he said, and I quote, 11 o 'clock. But not tonight. I said, really! Very embarrassing for Subway.

This was a terrible time. First, we got to the gas station and the doors were locked (7 PM) despite the hours saying it closed at 11. The gas station worker made some weird excuse and still didn 't open the door until about 15 minutes later. During this time, the subway workers just stared at us but wouldn 't open the door or let us know anything. We finally got inside and they said they didn 't have our order. One employee said the order was never made and then they magically found the receipt in the trash. Overall, we ordered and they said it would be done at 7:15. We didn 't get the order until after 8:15. This is unacceptable. At least the food (the subs that were prepared correctly) was decent.

230 in the afternoon and Closed to “stack up”. People in line waiting and no service.
