Unfortunately, the owner was incredibly arrogant and unfriendly. The burger I ordered was not cooked properly and had chunks of fat in it. Additionally, the owner tried to overcharge me by £5. Had takeaway burgers from here couple of days ago. Very impressed by the overall quality the bun, patty and fillings were exactly what you would want from a good burger. Good chips too. Great that they cook the patty medium by default. Will be coming back. View all feedback.

Some have had extremely disappointing experiences, with undercooked burgers, poor customer service, and attempts at overcharging. However, others have praised the quality of the burgers and overall takeaway experience, mentioning the delicious bun, patty, and fillings. The restaurant's claim to be the best burger place in Edinburgh and Scotland may be questionable, but it is still worth a try for those looking for a decent meal at a reasonable price. Additionally, the catering service provided by the restaurant for events has been highly recommended by satisfied customers. Despite some negative feedback, The Man On Fire's Big Dipper burger stands out as a fan-favorite, offering unbeatable taste, size, and value that keep customers coming back for more.
