We visited on a midweek evening and sat inside. There's only 4-6 seats inside but plenty more on the outdoor terrace. Pizzas are made fresh to order. You can see the process in the open kitchen. We ordered two pizzas (a Parma Figs, and a Meat Lovers) with two soft drinks. Quite expensive at almost £42, but they were two of the best pizzas that we had ever eaten. Perfect bases with lots of excellent quality topping. W... View all feedback.
What 927callumo doesn't like about Dough Rose Street:
I regularly order from dough S clerk street and always had a good experience. However on this occasion I ordered from the rose st branch and was very disappointed, size of pizzas was significantly smaller than previously, dip size was also reduced and to top it off the pizza was cold and disformed... it's a shame that the quality is not standardised across outlets. Haggis on a pizza?! they don't knock until they tried. and if they try it in edinburgh, they go to dough pizza for the particularly delicious and haggis-enhanced scozia pizza. this is not the first time I mentioned dough on the blog. but I thought the friendly little new town pizzeria deserved a mention in my haggis hunt series. back in autumn, when I was last in edinburgh, I was so glad that I passed on dough’s rose street outlet and had made his wood-fired pizza with seawater dough. the scozia (handmade passata, fior di latte, mcsweens haggis, stornaway black pudding, smoked pancetta, with a cracked egg...read more
Managed to get my hands on a few slices pizza by dough, and I'm already impressed! have they really been of otjer pizza places recently and very glad to see this place, the delivery! a lot of topping and a beautiful crispy basic. very good pizza in the center of edinburgh!
Pizza is in the round a hot circular open sandwich. now that they accelerate to the nature of the teller, let us immerse and take it a piece of one of the best hot circular open sandwiches of edinburgh (spoiler alarm). we went to dough when the rain fell and the hunger rose. the idea was to enjoy a weed disc, wait for the rain to pass and then go somewhere else for extra food. all this changed when we saw the selection on the offer behind the counter. half and half pizza was our only option, suddenly our weed was in full circle.
I had visited dough during the festival and was impressed by their great, well-designed pizzas. I've been pumping in a few times since, sometimes for a quick disc, other times for a full cake. I was happy with all the localities, but I didn't find the killer dish on their menu.
Went in with a friend and got a gorgeous pizza wrap for a brilliant price! Would recommend to anyone great value for money. The food is quick and fresh and tastes great
