We have immersed in the royal mile cafe for something ice, but the friendly atmosphere and perfect location makes it and ideal place to enjoy coffee, cake or tee. they also have crisp porridge, which they have for breakfast with rolled heel and double cream – delicious!
Pretty bad italian. calamari, the choice of seafood was terrible, and even after we had complained a soup, there were no measures. avoid this overpriced joint!

We popped into the Royal Mile Cafe for some ice cream, but the friendly atmosphere and perfect location makes it and ideal place to enjoy coffee, cake or tea. They also have cracking porridge, which they serve at breakfast time made with rolled oats and double cream – delicious!
An extremely nice bar near the castle. It is primarily a restaurant but the bar is accessible if you just want a drink. It is a far nicer way to relax than at one of the crowded pubs in the area.Good service and pleasant surroundings.
