What User doesn't like about The Southsider Pub:
my family was in Edinburgh to sprinkle the ashes of our mother back on arthur seat. it is the birthday of our mother, we couldn't change the date. Although with the play-off finale at wembley and we NFFC season ticket holder, the biggest game in 30...years we can not thank dave and his employees enough to offer us a private room to watch the game on a big tw and let us celebrate the victor in style. many noises that... We visited Edinburgh after we tried almost for 2 years to return my mother ashes to her birthplace. the 29th mai is her birthday, but also our beloved team nottingham forest in the play offs. When we approach the personal and explain our circumstances, we were given on the back a room where we play and without disturbing. the renter dave and his personal were excellent and to make the dinge from the meal we all had was great. many thanks to them all so fantastic for such an emotional day. I recommend to visit this place for everyone and will be back to the pub at visiting edinburgh in the future. cheers
You could just walk through this pub or be put off from the local pub look, but I'm so glad we ate here. eating was fresh and delicious and I could not believe how cheap is, especially to walk away from the...Festival theatre.
This is by far the best pub in Edinburgh. The staff are fantastic, they know their products well and they are very attentive. Beyond this they have a jukebox that's fully stacked. They serve decent pub food too. They're covid 19 practice's made me feel...safe. Big shout out to Amy, Alex and Sarah who recommended drinks and food to me. Table service during these times must be difficult.
A lovely pub in the heart of Edinburgh, well worth a visit. Staff were extremely welcoming, efficient and friendly especially Tom who served us promptly and attentively. Good food and well priced.
Great staff, very friendly and attentive, cheap and good drinks. Good pub and good service. cheer’s Tom and Chloe
