Contribute FeedbackAt Five Guys Edinburgh, diners encounter a blend of experiences that spark both delight and discontent. While many rave about the friendly staff, clean environment, and generous portions, others lament over chilled buns and steep prices. The burger's taste is often praised, but concerns about value persist, with diners feeling that similar meals could be found at lower costs nearby. Despite issues like long queues and seating limitations, some appreciate the customizability and taste—making it a suitable spot for a casual treat. Ultimately, the consensus reveals a restaurant grappling with balancing quality and perceived value.
Great eating here! They work a Queuing system outside to limit the people who are inside while waiting for order. the waiting queue moved very fast, we are a job and then we are tired to eat in 10 minutes! love that all additional toppings are free. remarkable that the big pommes were more than a two-person part! burger was juicy and not overcooked. delicious.
Five young are very fillable, they can choose their burger toppings and milkshake aromen. has large interiors with a good view of the city. would retreat with the family. the personal is also very friendly.
5 stars all round. The lady with the tattoos on front counter was very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and overall, just really nice. Great atmosphere, with good background music. Service was quicker than we expected, faster than previous visits anyway. Food is always 5 stars, and totally worth the extra your paying for it. Often people don't go as it's more expensive than alternatives but it's definitely worth the money your paying, it's filling, delicious and unlimited refills on drinks so you can get your money's worth. It offers great VFM (value for money). I always recommend for a treat/celebration.
Over priced marketed burger. Tasted good and to my taste. Just seriously questioning the pricing these days of Food. Nearly £4 for potatoes. £10 for a burger £5.50 for a milkshake. £22 to walk out Hungry. Although a notch above the chains. Response to Five Guys: There is no more quality in your ingredients as there are in the other Chains. Please do not justify your pricing on Power words like Quality and Freshly prepared. All customers expect freshly prepared and quality. This does not mean overpricing Mr Manager. The truth is you wish your customers to pay your staffs wages. The reality is we only wish to eat well and affordably and not be ripped off with £5.50 milkshakes or over £4.00 fries. Something to pass on to your President.
The restaurant is very expensive, with a burger, chips, and a drink costing around £20. The food was delicious, but the prices were quite high.
