I was pleasantly surprised by chachalaca. both courts I had better than good, the service was super friendly and the place is pretty smart

I'm already here and it's fun. my friends and family really enjoyed eating and the atmosphere. the personal is really friendly and yes, they have to wait one, but depending on where I was in him, was full of people. the tacos are great and their Tequila selection is amazing. one evening I might just drink under the Tequila wheel.

My friends and I really enjoy Cha Laca. Despite some negative reviews, I personally find the dining experience to be quite pleasant and authentically Mexican (trust me, I've spent a lot of time in Mexico). The tacos are delicious, the appetizers are beautiful, and the staff is friendly. However, they may not be the quickest when it comes to serving our orders and we often have to wait longer than desired. Nonetheless, I love dining here.

This restaurant left us feeling absolutely horrified. The decor was unappealing and the food can only be described as equivalent to disgusting dog food. We tried the lunch 'special' for £7.50, but much better quality lunch specials can be found elsewhere in Edinburgh. The refried beans made us feel sick and the 'slowly roasted pork' was tough and tasteless. We complained to the friendly waitress, who seemed embarrassed by our feedback. Overall, I would advise against entering this murky world of subpar Mexican food.
