Vargas Bbq - Edinburg

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and everything we have tried has been delicious. I highly recommend trying their brisket taco with Texas twinkle sausage. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

This was my first time trying this restaurant and it did not live up to the hype. The prices were too high for the small portions we received and the seasoning used on the meat overpowered its natural flavor. I ordered the Melleja plate and was disappointed with the size and taste compared to other BBQ joints I have visited. The tacos and chopped brisket sandwich I ordered were not worth the $8 price tag. As a Texan who has experience with BBQ, I feel that they should take customer feedback into consideration and strive to improve their offerings. It is important for customers to feel comfortable expressing their opinions without being discouraged.

The food at this restaurant is amazing! As a breakfast lover, the big mig and Q tacos are my favorites. I also tried the birria tacos, nachos, brisket sandwich, and chile relleno, all of which were excellent. I normally don't like banana pudding, but I really enjoyed their smoked version.

Decided to stop for a quick breakfast. heed this warning, appears early because the line wraps around the corner. but this is worth waiting! ordered the big mig taco with included beans, kartoffeln, ei, brisket and speck! holy moly has not despised this guy! friendly staff when they order and have tons more on the menu. in any case try again.

10/10Great place! Protions are great and food taste perfect! Just make sure you call ahead or follow their social media because they run out real quick.I tried the rib plate, brisket nachos, sausage, and the brisket. All were a hit and would definitely recommend trying them. The place is behind a build in like a mobile bbq cage. No place to eat and sit.
