Would not recommend l got sausage and mash the sausage was over cooked and the mash was very hard and my mum got fish and chips and chips were dry fish was not big at all you Hardly even got any fish in it even even though it was a cod . The only good thing is the staff . And over all it was very dirty . View all feedback.
If I could give zero stars I would. First time trying this place and OMG we will not ever again, paid £60 for a Thai takeaway, the beef was burnt the calamari was over cooked clearly shop bought and inedible and I think the picture I’ve posted of the noodles say it all about them absolutely everything was awful. Called for the takeaway waited an hour which we were happy to do understanding they were busy then traveled 10miles to pick up so when discovering the terrible food we had been given called the place and the gentleman on the phone (the owner) was dismissive and said that we don’t know what Thai food tastes like, us having spent years living in London eating authentic Thai cuisine as well as other numerous Asian cuisines. So not only bad food but the customer service was non existent as his priority clearly was serving drinks in the pub as he repeatedly said to us on the phone after politely calling to try and sort something out to mutual satisfaction but was impossible. Avoid.
Excellent find it’s definitely open lovely Thai food always good when the landlords asks for the number on the menu so that the Thai chef dons’t get confused great food great portions
After seeing this stop on Park4night app as we were travelling to Scotland from South Wales we decided it was a must stop as they serve authentic Thai food. Nothing was too much trouble.. We booked some days before, asked if we could stay for the night in the car park and have a meal and some drinks with them. On arrival the lovely landlord made us feel so welcome and our cocker Spaniel (making sure he had fresh water). Last night has got to be one of the best welcomes we’ve ever had at a pub/restaurant. Great conversation, sat promptly and offered the menus of either Thai or pub menu... it had to be Thai for us.. this is what brought us here. The meal was absolutely amazing, so tasty, all very authentic and definitely filled us up with a mixed starter, a curry each and a rice to share... we couldn’t have fitted in dessert if we’d wanted to. The stay in our motorhome was great. We weren’t disturbed at all and had a great night sleep. The landlord and his wife are great hosts and i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing Thai meal or a stop over on the way to Scotland. We’d love to visit again and we’ll make it a stopover even if visiting the lakes in the future. Thank you both for such a lovely evening. Vicki, Rhydian and Charlie the spaniel xx
After a long drive, we stopped at this restaurant for an overnight stay. We were directed here by the sat nav and were tired and in need of rest. The room was in a poor condition with stained carpet, broken furniture, and even a carpeted bathroom (including the bathtub). There was a bowl under a leaky water pipe from the toilet, and no shower. Feeling disgusted, we left at 8am as my husband couldn't bear to stay any longer. Before going to our room, we had drinks in the bar where the table was so sticky that I needed both hands to pick up my wine glass. We paid £90 for the room, but if we hadn't already paid, I wouldn't have paid at all.
This was our first time dining at this restaurant for dinner. They offer a wide variety of dishes on both their Thai and English menus. Our food arrived promptly and the staff were very friendly. The dishes we ordered were delicious and we couldn't find any faults. I especially enjoyed the fish and chips from the English menu, which had a light and crispy batter. If you opt for a Thai dish, be sure to add a side of rice or noodles. We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend this restaurant. There is ample parking available and it is easily accessible from the M6 or A66.
