Admittedly it was extremely busy on a Saturday evening during the Eastbourne Airbourne air show, but it just felt very average, the service wasn't amazing. I had a hot pizza topping and no one came up during the course of the meal to ask if we wanted any more drinks or some water, and my mouth was on fire, was also difficult to attract the attention of waiting staff. As others have mentioned before, this fish and chip shop is definitely leading the pack, but only by a small margin. The prices are also a bit higher than other places.
My husband enjoyed his meal, the kids were entertained with activity sheets, and I loved the vegan coconut ice cream and beetroot poppers. The vegan options were fantastic and we returned specifically for the ice cream.
The food and service at Zizii are top-notch! I love eating at the Eastbourne branch, as it is conveniently situated.
The fish and chips at this restaurant may not be inexpensive at £8.95, but the haddock is of excellent quality and full of flavor, which is to be expected since it is connected to a fishmonger.
The food and service were good at Zizzi Eastbourne but an invasion of small annoying flies around the restaurant were off putting to say the least , the manager says they are getting the problem rectified soon
