Live in the area and use Mt. Everest two or three times a month for dine in or take out. Food quality very good and can vary the spice level to your choosing. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Not that busy for in dining though the room and service is fine, but do a lot of take out orders. Highly recommend View all feedback.
What Sean B doesn't like about Mt Everest Restautant:
We ordered the usual items pakora, vindaloo, malai kofta. The kofta was a huge disappointment, in the past quite good lots of paneer and raisons and nuts....this time potatoes, chick peas and non existent paneer. They are cheap on ingredients and quality is going way downhill just a matter of time before they are out of business. When we mentioned that the kofta was not good and resembled nothing of what kofta should... View all feedback.
Great food, authentic cuisine, great service, reasonable price
The food is great and a very relaxed and casual atmosphere.
The staff is polite and has very good suggestions. Is a great place to meet, hear to speak, eat very delicious food, drink and have a very good time (no loud background noise).
A casual place in the Leaside neighbourhood. Great if you enjoy Indian or Himalayan cooking. I love the momos. Servings are generous. When we were there it was quiet, nice for having a conversation. There was a steady stream of take out customers, I assume from the surrounding community.
Good food as usual but the service was not good. We got our main dishes without the rice which needed a talk to the manager to get it. How can an Indian restaurant not have rice ready?! We finally got the rice but then our min dishes needed heating up. I think the staff are more concerned with the take-out business than the in-house patrons. We will still go back as we like the food.
