Best Afghan in Toronto. Meat is cooked over charcoal, gives it that great bbq taste. Place isn't the biggest but always busy. If you never had afghan food this is the place to try. View all feedback.
What Madison Jaskolski doesn't like about Bamiyan Kabob:
had to go there three times a week. taste is good, but this branch increases the prices without notice. I ordered chicken chapli every time that is my favorite. I visit almost every single branch in gta, but only this branch has price problems. I have taken my inputs of these industries and some other two. the other is 2.25, which is not fair. no more bamiyan at thorncliff View all feedback.
Loved the small container of tomato based sauce. Great for dipping your freshly baked bread or with your meal. We ordered an assortment of various meals. Tandoori chicken, lamb, chicken Kafka, chicken kebabs and chop pan kebobs. Everything was very tasty. Fast service with freshly prepared food. Generous portions. There are pictures to assist with ordering if you're not familiar with the food. Limited parking with lots of other restaurants sharing the same lot. Tables were clean. Pitcher of tap water was available. Usually it's busier, but we visited during a rain storm. Highly recommended.
Picture Trump saying "Amazing" this is how good the food is, pretty much a self-serve place but the people behind the counter took the time to explain the food we were getting, though the place was crazy busy. I especially liked the rice that came covered in carrots and raisins.
As the name suggests, they do kabobs - chicken, beef and I think lamb. We went for a casual lunch - the dinners are served with salad and Afghan naan or rice. Loved the Afghan naan! The chicken tikka kabob was nicely spiced, and the salad was fresh with a tasty yogurt based dressing.
We went there on the day we arrived in Toronto. It turned out to be the best food of my stay! Highly recommended! Note: You might have to wait to get a table or stand next to a family leaving but well worth the wait!
Good food every time we went here. Their chicken breast kabobs are excellent along with the chaplee kabob however the chaplee kabob can be chilli hot so be careful. This location is always busy.
