First time diner - fabulous good and service!
I had the French toast and hubby had a steak sandwich with sweet potato fries - everything was delicious and the serves were very generous. We didn't finish every last scrap as we were sooo full!
We will be back! View all feedback.
What Nelson O'Reilly doesn't like about Food For Me:
First time trying Food for me. It has a friendly service and right in the middle of Vic park. They are quite busy for a Sunday afternoon and the coffee is pretty decent. We were quite amazed at the amount of gluten free options on its menu as well as their counter fridge. They look nice and presents well. Used to be a regular of Food For Me for years. Love the healthy, fresh and delicious food they prepare. Our top usuals: * Pancakes * Eggs Benedict * Big Breakfast * French Toast * Breakfast Burrito * Sweet Potato Fries Food was always served in generous sizes and tasted great. We always left the place feeling happy and satisfied! However, lately we've noticed that the standard of food has dropped quite a fair bit. Hollandaise sauce is heavier on the acidic side and pancakes are thick & dense. Food just tastes pretty average in general now. This place is starting to lose the vibrance and colour they once had in their food & interior decor. Really hope the current owners do something to bring the place up to the brilliant standard they once had.
Nice fast service. Decent coffee. Vego burrito (I'm a carnivore but dropping weight for fight) was delicious don't knock vegetarian meals! Filled me up and happy belly

The food take a bit of time to come out, we ordered the zucchini and corn fritters as well as the breakfast burrito. The food portion size is good. The sauce was interesting, both dish I assume has the same sauce its more like a sweet and sour chilli. We thought that the food served were okay but unfortunately lacking a bit of wow factor to it in terms of taste. Perhaps we will try other things on the menu next time.
A nicely located little cafe in East Victoria Park serving home style cooked food. They are quite popular for breakfast. The coffee is pretty good there too. One of the more expensive breakfast lunch places in Victoria park but the food is honest if not a bit boring.
