We thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the small, but super fresh salad bar, including lovely pasta salads and 2 homemade soups. Then we shared crab stuffed shrimp like you'd only get oceanside, and a perfectly cooked and seasoned steak. This handsome chefis raising the bar here, and you really must check out this up and coming restaurant gem! View all feedback.
What Don71 doesn't like about The Roasted Tomato:
2stars because the server was polite and sweet. No stars for the food. Quality of the food was terrible. Price is absolutely the worse for what you get...Nothing worse then over paying for below average food.
Not open during advertised hours. Has an open sign in the window and brochure says open but they said “no food” when we walked in
The food is great and the server is super nice. It's a great place to eat and drink.
Our bartender/server couldn't have been nicer ! Great service.
Ate there while staying at the hotel. Food was great!!
UPDATED 3 25: under new ownership. In transition and changing over menu to Latin themed. Earlier review about food no longer relevant. I had the salmon and my husband the steak fajitas which were good. —— ORIGINAL REVIEW Nice decor with Chihuly glass fixtures; kind attentive staff; reasonably priced menu and drinks! The chef is very talented- the food is excellent. I have had the seared scallops and the eggplant Parmesan both of which were large portions and delicious! Soups very good too. Never very crowded and hidden gem next to hotel.
