Big Mama's Bbq Express

I was over to get food because I went back to arkansas this place had the best burger waffle fries i have tasted in a longgg time! they have in the regular car around the building or many customers that is because their so delicious? I would highly recommend this place! I haven't met a big mama, but it's delicious! Are you sure you're smiling in my face?

I really love a good neighborhood restaurant, and what's better than a barbecue spot! I was in East St. Louis doing community service at a community garden and needed somewhere quick to grab a bite to eat after being in the heat and sun all day handing out food to residents. Stopped here after reviewing the reviews, and thoroughly enjoyed all the food. Besides a sort of long wait (because it is so popular) I really enjoyed the fellowship of those waiting for their food. It felt like being around family and people you knew. Everyone was laughing, talking and sharing insight to what they were ordering. Everything is cooked fresh to order. The potato salad and baked beans were delicious. My friend and I definitely will be going back!

Amazing barbecue. Good price. We stopped at the drive thru during a road trip and it did not disappoint.

I was so disappointed. I ordered rib tips and snoots. The rib tips were so tough, I thought I was chewing beef jerk. Their snoots are usually smoked to perfection, but on this particular day, it did not taste smoked. I don't know who cooked this day, but the food was horrible!!!

Good BBQ. Definitely one of the best in the St. Louis area. Most places have to wow you with fantastic sides because there bbq is subpar. This places wows you with bbq and solid sides.
