I had an amazing BBQ experience at this restaurant! I was on my way out of Peoria when I suddenly felt the urge to grab a meal before hitting the road. I found this BBQ spot on Maps and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! The parking was a bit confusing, but I managed to find public parking to the east of the building. They give you large amounts of food. I had the pulled pork sandwich and pommes. No big fan of her sauce. Even those who are to be spicy are too sweet for me. I need a better choice. The pig was too fat. Bun was wet. Too sweet for me.

The sweet and spicy sauces were delicious, as well as the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese. I will definitely be returning here in the future!
The best grill I ever had. We eat there every couple of weeks. Bands, burned ends, brisket, pulled pig and her hand cut pommes... can't be beaten. I've tried a new place today where people crack and nope, I think Whitey still hit her. And their homemade BBQ sauce...wow!
Burning ends were very good. Q Shoe was great! I loved the Queso cheese and freshly cut pommes, but I asked for burned ends as my meat and was pulled pigs. Hasn't complained because the pulled pork was very juicy and tender and bf ordered burned ends, so I only had some of it. Her brisket was pretty dry and my bf didn't like her Mac and cheese. At first I thought it looked like potatoes. Overall the service was good (except they get my meat wrong, we would come back for the burnt ends. Would you like to try rib tips next time (they were sold out today. Price is good for the part. Parking sucks.
I have always enjoyed everything I have tried at this restaurant. Their house-made sauces are delicious and the Q shoe is very satisfying. I have yet to try the bacon-wrapped deep fried hot dog covered in mac-and-cheese, but I plan to next time. The only downside is that they close at 8 pm every night.
