I ended up eating around the meat and focusing on the delicious fried plantains. Next time, I plan to call ahead and request a custom order to make sure it is pork-free, as the dish was so tasty that it would be worth paying extra for a personalized order. Even if I have to order a large quantity and freeze it, I will do whatever it takes to enjoy this dish without any pork.
Don 't bother. Just go to danie 's. The business seems to be on its last legs as the person who was at the counter didn 't come out for 15mins. When I shouted hello she said hold on
Started ordering from here a few months ago, pretty consistent. Sometimes they forget the sauce but not really a big deal. I usually get the fried turkey and black rice. Sometimes the rice is fresher than other times but this is my go-to place.
Doesn't look like much when you walk by... I actually thought it was closed or an abandoned shop. The inside of the restaurant is really hot, so I wouldn't plan to eat in there. They also don't go a great job at calculating your total for the food. The food is great and that soursop juice?! Splendid but as far as organization and comfortability... It could use some work.
