One of the top 3 Italian restaurants in the Anchorage area, alongside Fiori's and Sorrento's. Not sure who is topsy-turvy, but their dishes have me hooked. The best meal I've had from a restaurant in a long, long time. Not quite as good as my favorite spot in Siti's, but worth stopping by more often in Eagle River. View all feedback.
What Moonlight doesn't like about Pomodoro’s Greek Italian:
Ordered delivery on their website. An hour goes by. We call and call but no one answers. Drive to the restaurant. Handwritten note on the door saying ‘closed on Tuesday’s’. Would have been nice if they turned off their online ordering! View all feedback.
This was our first time here and it did not disappoint! Cioppino is one of my favorite things of all time and theirs is great here. I’m newer to Anchorage and I’ve been missing having a local Italian place and I’m happy to say this is now my spot. Our meals and appetizer (calamari) overall were both amazing and we will definitely be back!
I've eaten this afternoon. this is one of my favorite restaurants in the adler river. the gyros was delicious, the pommes were awesome, the service excellent. I really like the private sphere of high-baked stands and the amazing selection they have. one of my favorite visits from earlier is the Greek pasta and I often take a side away from home. if they are in the eagle river, this will not disappoint!
Excellent Italian and Greek restaurant! service is good, menu has a lot to offer, both Italian and Greek dishes. the restaurant is never busy that the service is influenced. the menu is a bit expensive, but it is alaska.
I had eaten with a friend here this afternoon and had eaten the delicious gyro in the last memory! the fries were also very delicious. especially I loved the cozy, high-baked private cabins and a rising deck. a wonderful fund is my new favorite restaurant in the adler river!
Our waitress was the worst. as if she didn't want to serve us, and they went the extra mile for one table and we could hear them. the food was good you
