We came here for lunch on a Monday while visiting Spokane. There was a bit of a wait (about 20 min), but that was partially because we needed a booth since we had an infant. That said, they had a high chair waiting for us at our table when we got there. Our server was super nice and attentive, and so was the rest of the staff. As for the food, it was also great! We got the club sandwich and fries. So stinkin' good th... View all feedback.
What Charles Blue doesn't like about Frank's Diner Downtown Spokane:
I'm a regular at franks ..never had a below average experience ..but .this was not good ..I got my usual .a burger ..it was unedable ..way over cooked ..3 inches. Of way to thick cut veggies ..on an old bun that was falling apart .the bacon was so over cooked. It can't even be called beef jerky ..but my wife's bacon .on her breakfast. Was almost raw ..it was dead. And tons of employees .wandering around .doing nothin... View all feedback.
The food here is always amazing and the options they do for each meal is on point. The only problem is when it's busy it can take a long time to get a seat.
Dining in an historic rail car with an upbeat morning vibe. The stained glass windows and light fixtures are in nice shape. They had complimentary coffee in the waiting area, though we were able to get seats at the counter with no wait. Full range of expected breakfast options, done well. The bread for the toast was exceptional. Coffee was nice and strong. Super friendly staff.
Fantastic Diner, I love the atmosphere and Nathan was a phenomenal server. The food was amazing and reasonably priced
We were coming into Spokane a bit later than planned, so I searched for nearby restaurants and found Frank's Diner. It looked so cool and seemed to have a wide variety menu. Boy did this place not disappoint! Such an great atmosphere, really good food and an attentive staff. We will definitely return when we come back to Spokane. So fun!
Wish I could give more than 5 stars! The food, the staff, and the atmosphere are all AMAZING! It’s not a trip to Spokane without stopping at Frank’s. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes with the creole hollandaise to start. They are so delicious! Then we had the Creole Bay Benedict. Absolutely cooked to perfection and served with a smile and great conversation! The creole hollandaise Sauce is just the right level of spice. Eggs were perfect and the hasbrown potatoes so very tasty. I can’t wait to go again it was so good! Now I just need an excuse to head that direction!
