On Saturday evening with friends visited to celebrate the hubbys 60th birthday. we had a magic come to the table not planned) which was very entertaining and good. the meal was nice, could not finish the main course, as the starter was so big! overall we had a great evening, in any case a place where we will go back.

A party of 8 two children and 6 adults on coeliac (gluten free). we had not booked, but we sit fast and have done menus and beverage orders and dusted on a timely fashion. drinks arrived quickly and the real ales were so excellent and local brewers who were even better. Eat immediately and everything together and was hot and extremely tasty without complaining of children or adults. desserts looked amazing and were quickly polished by those they had. overall and excellent experience and will be back soon eating and customer service was excellent.

Had a 2 nightly work exkurs in durham and that was a real sound. great comfortable room with a fantastic breakfast. the dinner was also a high standard. service around the bar staff to waitress was before location. I would recommend the old mill in any case. will be up next time.
