King's Sandwich Shop - Durham

If they have not been in King’s, they have not fully experienced durham. great food and good service. beautiful lunch especially on a beautiful day. my pup loves to confess for his hot dog look. they love to pamper him with tasty things. we always get the crispy chicken sandwich, never disappointed!

Best burgers in town ! We heard of this place on TicTok and had to try it . Real beef burgers use Duke mayo which is the best ! Not stingy with the bacon at all.. they have Okra ! Will be back ! Curtis in the kitchen is the best and all the workers had great energy

King’s was a great experience. They get thru the busy line of lunch goers pretty quickly. But if you decide to come during lunch, expect a decent crowd. The menu has the spectrum of grill foods- though when I went they didn’t have some items in stock (Pulled pork sandwich). It didn’t bother me as the server recommended a host of other items. I settled for the Philly cheese steak with some onion rings on the side, my wife opting for a single patty burger and tater tots. Both were really good. I was impressed by the tots being so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The onion rings are the battered versions, they are smooth on the outside and have a great crunch, the onion also doesn’t get pulled out which means it’s not over cooked. Burger and Philly cheese steak tasted good, nothing special to note but it hit the spot! They had a picnic table area to eat, it might be limited during lunch due to the number of people but maybe you can ask to split the bench.

This place is amazing! The fried okra is EXACTLY on point. Best I have had in years, hands down. Went here yesterday, it was so good I'm back today! Friendly and kind staff too. Thank you for this excellent food! :

This place is popping, a constant line of people ordering at lunch time. The beef hotdog got me wanting another one and the tater tots are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just right! Definitely coming back for a burger and one of their sandwiches! Took me way too long to check this place out. Highly recommend!
