We had a wonderful dinner at this lovely historic hotel. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. The trout almondine was expertly prepared and one of the best I've had. The pasta with salmon was also delicious. I highly recommend dining here. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mahogany Grille:
Made reservations for nice evening dinner, thought from looks it would be very upscale and top notch. It quickly went downhill. First it took a very long time for a server to come, even with water, we ordered the Calamari, which came out quickly but was cold and bad textured. We continued to order the shrimp tequila pasta and it came out watery and bad flavor. They were very nice to comp the food but still won’t be c... View all feedback.
My husband and I came here to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent - I ordered the stuffed hake and my husband had the lasagna. The standout dishes were the adult candy appetizer and the key lime cake cocktail. I would definitely return just for those. Our waitress, Rachel, was fantastic. She was attentive without being overbearing. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic for the price. The dining room is beautiful and the staff is excellent. I would definitely come back again.

Mahogany Grille has great food if you are willing to wait for it. Between Appetizer Main Course took almost 45 minutes between them. Slow Kitchen Output...dessert took another 15 minutes from Time of Order to placement on table. Good thing the food was Excellent. 2 Hours total for 3 Course Meal. Glad it was not a weekend; the restaurant was only 2/3 full this Evening. Anniversary Dinner and will be back again; but do not go there if you are famished...you will be waiting awhile....recoomend drinks and appetizer to settle in from there. Wait staff was excellent...Kitchen was issue this evening.
My wife and I visit Mahogany Grill a few times a year, and it’s always been a great dining experience. This time, after the pandemic, the service and atmosphere are still great, but the food was not up to previous standards. Today, my wife wanted soup and salad – but today’s ONLY soup was Watermelon Gazpacho Soup; What is that? No thanks! So she ordered the Gorgonzola Salad and a side of “Loaded” Herbed Mashed Potatoes. I ordered the Calamari Appetizer and the Cioppino entree, both of which I’ve enjoyed before. Well, the “loaded” potatoes were mashed potatoes with scallions and herbs, and the “loaded” $2 extra was diced tomato, sprinkles of shredded cheese, and scallions – but my wife expected cheese, bacon and sour cream (our usual expectation of “loaded” potatoes). My calamari pieces were very rubbery – obviously grossly overcooked – the waitress didn’t charge me for them, with an apology that some of the cooking staff were new. My Cioppino was very tasty, but 2 clam and mussel shells had not opened – not something to be served at an upscale restaurant. Again, the waitress apologized. The wine list was very good, as usual. We shared a chocolate tart dessert, and we agreed that the chocolate filling was very good, but the tart shell tasted like a pre-frozen supermarket pastry shell. We are sorry the Mahogany Grill has suffered from the pandemic, but we encourage them to find more qualified chefs.
