Called here for dinner one evening and went back for lunch a few days later. From the moment we arrived we were made most welcome and the food was very tasty. The owners and staff were very friendly and cooperative with our fussy requests. Dinner was excellent and a few days later we went back for lunch and also watched a match. Would highly recommend this as a stopping place. View all feedback.
What Vincent z dislikes about Southern:
We had dinner at this place as a family. Food was ok but portions were very small, even the kids went hungry. Size of the portions are Weight Watchers size. The price is on the higher side. Not recommend this place. Unfortunately there is nothing else in Dunmanway. And you need to be lucky to find the man behind the bar in a good mood. Has bitten my nose of on previous visits. Staff were really nice and friendly . Lovely countryside surroundings but unfortunately it started to rain and we had no table umbrella so we had to vacate. If the weather was less inclement it would have been so lovely.
Had my daughter baptized here and can't say how fab that was eating. we had a dry day, so that everyone outside the back area also played children on the grass with the footballs and colors that I have made to deal with them. they kept the children satisfied with ice after eating. would recommend to come here for each party especially with children.
