Despite the confusion on where to place orders, the food was generally well-received, especially the grilled sandwich with interesting flavors. The café offers a variety of vegan and gluten-free options, but cross-contamination might be a concern for some. Overall, it's a popular spot for locals looking for healthy and delicious food.
Delicious raw berries. are looking forward to the test of the sweet potato zimtrolle tomorrow morning. update: it was delicious! full gooey, crystalline, razor quality. updated by previous review on 2022-07-21
I tried the vegan egg scramble this morning, and it was so good! I will have to try making it at home. It was tofu, but so tasty. It was served with potatoes and a salad. The young fellow who was making them in the back was so enthusiastic, it was great!
Many decisions! ordered a vegan package, vegan desert and a latte. latte came with milk, and was made again no problem. I caught him before I drank! (I forgot that I was at a veggie place and not a vegan place would have been nice yet, the choices on the theke were offered, especially with the rest of my order vegan. asked to use her phone in a need and was refused because of kovid in the mai 2022! unfortunately this trip will not go back. updated by previous review on 2022-05-11
Many choice even chocolate brownies that were amazing by the way! I also had the vegan samosa that was really good. they are totally vegetarian, but the vegan options are really good. super busy, but it is worth noting.
The garage can be a little hit or miss, with some items (like the breakfast burrito) is consistently tasty, while other items (such as the coffee and vegan muffins) leave something to be desired. it's hard to say if this is just my personal preference, but my partner notices the same when we eat here (which is often) this cafe has fed us and our guests many tomorrow, so we are grateful for a all veggie cafe in duncan, and I am happy to report that much of their eating, and a part of their baked were vegan (hopefully they see more vegan in the future garage)
