Ihop - Dumfries

Had a good breakfast on Sunday. Our server was very friendly and efficient. The food was fresh. Do you have coffee refills without asking?

Had a bad experience from the second I came to the second I left and friend came to 2 on Sunday afternoon to eat something we went in and were greeted when we finally asked our waiters to drink within a second down so that we feel hurried, then come back about 30 seconds later ask us what we want to eat before we still get to find the menus that he went to do. When we finally got our food, I had a hair in my frits, so they got me new frits when I eat my burger, I saw that they left plastic mucosa from the cheese on it, I felt honestly disgusting and lost my appetite completely. it was my first and definitely my last time here

Tent for Valentine's breakfast before my daughter went to school. You have some good supplements to the menu including fried fish and breakfast bowls and rice bowls. The Alie server was AMAZING and very dedicated. He even sat and talked to us a few times because it wasn't super busy that early in the morning. We sat immediately and didn't have to wait long for our food. I have the shredded beef dish with Avacados. The beef was good, but the rice was dry and had Quinoa in what I did not prefer.

I try very hard to give a restaurant the advantage of doubt when I go and something goes wrong and fix it immediately. My visit to the IHOP in Dumfries Virginia is the exception. I was greeted and sat by a pretty big man wearing the lunch book. The smell was very strong and I wore a mask. This same gentleman wore black and his clothes were very dirty. I sat there for 13 minutes before the same Lord came back to take my order. Then it was 25 minutes until my food arrived. My order came with 2 pancakes and when he delivered it to me, he couldn't make sure I had syrup. When I noticed that there was no syrup on my table, he was gone, so I started eating with hopes that he would return soon. I had finished 75% of my meal when he came back, and I ask Sirup and he kindly brought it from another table to me. My meal was great except the pancakes they had a bad texture and practically no taste. I would add some vanilla extract to the pancake battery. Overall, I would rate this visit 2 out of 10.

We arrived at 9:45pm and didn?t leave until 11:45pm. Only HALF of our table got their food and we waited forever to get the checks. Imagine being at a restaurant for 2 hours with no food!! How is this even possible!!! No discount, no hey we are sorry! Thanks Ruby for making our night unforgettable! We will never go back here again or possibly any IHOP again.
