The food was great. The staff excellent. A customer came in as was so rude at the outset. She complained about everything and loudly. The staff remained friendly and served her with a smile. I sure wouldn't have. I'd go back again. View all feedback.
What Linda Lick doesn't like about Big Boy's Bbq:
The first time every thing was great The second and last time we could not even bite into the meat. Both times we had rib tips. I do have to say they have the best homemade potato salad. View all feedback.

Did a day trip from Nashville to Canton on business and stopped in for lunch. Whole wings, ribs, and sides were excellent. Above average service and hospitality than we would ever have expected. Will be back whenever we’re in town.
These are the BEST ribs that I have eaten in years! This little hole in a wall restaurant on Route 65 in Dumas is amazing! The smell when you enter just teases to the delight that is about to happen. The big meaty ribs fell from the bone. The extra sauce was not needed for these soft, juicy, and flavor packed ribs. I have eaten ribs in every state of this nation, and I doubt that the people of Dumas realize how truly blessed they are to have this in their hometown.
This is a little, unexpected gem in Dumas. The BBQ is excellent and the portions are good-sized. The prices are very reasonable. Big Boy's has a good variety of southern/soul food and BBQ. The building is not very attractive, but don't let that fool you. The food is terrific.
