The overall experience was very good. The food was tasty, although a bit salt, and the set up was cozy and a good atmosphere. On the down side was the menu only in German. I would recommend the place for a quiet night out. View all feedback.
What Ingelore Pietsch doesn't like about Casa Luigi:
Dreadful service and horrible food! The waiters are appalling and the food below average! I don’t recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience! View all feedback.
The experience of the last night 25/10/2022, underlines the true dna of herrn luigi, who accepts the reservation of the signed and three other friends for 8.15 clock. After our arrival he asked to wait another 15 minutes, and we understood the need to clean a...table. after this time he came to us (always the owner) at the entrance and invented our great variety to his son for the delay to let us sit. in the presence of his sohne, who confirmed our behavior, he closed the door of the restaurant for us, repeating that he did not let us put into the house. it is obvious that he prefers to leave our table to regular customers instead of passing by people. we made an announcement of such a attitude and convinced that herr luigi (maybe I exaggerate to identify him) is convinced that he will not always be able to speak people and close the door in their faces as if they were objects. luigi. without gentleman, the wheel turns be careful. I suggest crashkurs in bonton is a moment to find yourself without customers.
Sitting in a very cozy environment. the food was absolutely delicious and the service was also good. we had a group of 6 and everyone really enjoyed their meal and experience.
Very tasty eating and beautiful wine to host the meal. loved the Aubergine star and the Polipo/Calamari main dish. service was good, not exceptional.
Small restaurant with narrow and limited seating. service was excellent, friendly and warm, food quality is average, especially for the price. we had an antipasti starter plate to share which was well shared with a good variety. I then had the truffle pasta that turned around to clog, and they were not so generous with the truffles shave. I also had a better truffle paste in another restaurant in düsseldorf.
Pizza was good, wine was good, service was average. Also the setting was just OK. Prices more on the higher end which did not match the rest.
