Contribute FeedbackThe Legal Eagle is a lovely restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. While some reviewers noted slow service and a lack of children's menu, they praised the quality of the food, particularly the Sunday roast options. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the bar had a good selection of craft beers. Overall, the Legal Eagle is recommended for those looking for a nice meal in a relaxed setting, away from the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar. With accommodating chefs and excellent service, this spot is a hit for those seeking a tasty and enjoyable dining experience in Dublin.
Underdog is absolutely extraordinary in his new home.
Sometimes listed as a gastro pub, there is no food at The Eagle now, but there are some of the best independent breweries from Dublin on offer. Pale ales, stouts, porters, lagers are all on offer so need to be a "real ale" fan, and some are served in smaller glasses instead of pints because of their high alcohol content! The staff was friendly and helpful and while the digital screen shows (19, when I visited) different beers a little out of balance to keep with the old pub, it is really clear and useful. All beers were great and on Friday night I visited while the pubs at Temple Bar were overloaded at 7:00, this place was quiet and civilized and less than 10 minutes walk away. Can't wait to see what they're doing next!
