Yum food and nice wine I loved their fish and chips Staff were lovely but a few times we found it easier to go to the bar to order than to wait for staff to approach us View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Laurels:
Visited with friends, we had a booking and had plans to eat. We were first seated on some barrels as no tables were available. Big pub with absolutely strong occurs the band after dark. so it makes fun
Beautiful toast and a cup coffee and service with a smile.
Eating is delicious, so is the environment. a little pricy
Perfect location for any event, lovely staff and quality food
I recently attended a function in this pub. I phoned ahead to make sure it was accessible as I am a wheelchair user. I was told that there was a lift but it was removed 5 years ago and replaced with an area for customers. The frame is still there but the lift itself is removed. I had to be lifted up the stairs by 3 members of staff. The toilet is down a flight of stairs. The fire exit also has 3 steps out . I was very embarrassed having to be lifted in front of everyone in the venue. I also felt very unsafe. This shows a complete lack of respect and dignity for people with reduced mobility the elderly and also families with children in buggies.. In 2022 when the government is promoting equality for all it is unacceptable to discriminate against people with reduced mobility especially when there had been a lift and it was removed and no access to the toilets..
