I have never told you about my experience at the restaurant Talavera in the Radisson Blu St. Helen's in Dublin. It was a storm. Some months ago, Patrick and I were part of a small group of bloggers and writers invited to a special event called "Taste of Italy." View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Talavera:
The staff at Talavera were the standout positive for us during our visit for a birthday dinner. They were incredibly attentive and helpful, even organizing a birthday cake for us. The restaurant's location is also quite lovely, with a series of dining rooms of varying sizes that create an intimate atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown, especially considering the price for two courses. We both ordered the... View all feedback.
Quiet and cozy restaurant. Meals were very delicious. I loved her.
We went to the Talavera Restaurant, Raddison St Helens on the New Year’s Eve I have to say the hotel looked amazing, the decorations were outstanding, the atmosphere In the hotel bar and lounge area was magical. However to the restaurant, it is divided into many different sections and for that reason there is no Wow factor, very disappointing after the delights of the rest of the hotel. The staff were friendly, more in a polite way, no chat, which is possible even in a 5 star hotel. Service was excellent, after that I have nothing positive to say. It claims on line the restaurant is an “Award Winning Restaurant” hard to believe. .My prawn starter had a couple of prawns in an nothing sauce , no imagination what so ever. My steak went back as it was overcooked; it had to have been the most tasteless steak I have ever had. The desert was lovely and coffee not worth having. My friends has the beetroot tart which they said was very one said the fish was good the other siad it had very little taste, people hate to complain when in company. The overall price was very expensive for that reason I am writing my review. It is one thing getting bad food when you have paid very little but when you have paid top price it is just not right.
Nice to relax here with some really great dishes and then finish your wine upstairs in the large drawing room/bar Always very helpful and knowledgeable staff
We had a wonderful 90th birthday party here for 30 family and friends. The food, tasting and presentation, was outstandingly good. Alfredo, Fernando and Lili went out of their way to provide excellent service to accommodate varying age groups and dietary requirements. Thank you for a wonderful day !
Following a spread of breads with hummus and pesto, I had an amazing prawn risotto, whilst my husband had a very tasty and filling ravioli. Fernando and his colleagues were delightful, and looked after us very well.
