This place is absolutely fantastic! My husband and I have only been here a few times, but each visit is all around wonderful! The atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious, and the service is warm and friendly. The sunshine cafe is our new go-to here in Dun Laoghaire! View all feedback.

I have given this restaurant 3 stars solely for the friendly service we received. However, I found the cleanliness of the place to be lacking. The paper table funnels looked dirty and the menus were torn and stained. I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed dining here, which made me concerned about the kitchen hygiene. The chowder was delicious and the restaurant has potential, but they need to improve their standards. View all feedback.
Positive: Love the delicious, freshly made food, incredibly tasty with a perfectly strong and rich coffee. Great selection of healthy meals, and bake in oven pizza. Atmospheres is amazing, the music taste is extraordinary. Saved all songs with the Shazam app. Nice, smiley and friendly customer care. Truly The Sunshine Café, sunshine shines right now as the song places everybody loves sunshine... Secret Garden is full of secrets, a variety of trees, plants and flowers, small corners where you can hide and steal a kiss or just wonder, sketch, doodle or write the first chapter of a new phase of your life or beginning a love letter, poem off, handwritten with a stylish, timeless and classic pen. Lots of natural flowers and vintage deco makes this place different from others, unique and wonderful. Great place for all day, from early breakfast, late lunch to cosy date in the evening with a bottle of red homemade wine.
We had a big party of 19 people so had upstairs to ourselves for lunch. Everyone was pleased with their choice of food. I would dearly like more choice of pizza/pasta whest or gluten free.

Cute place, the hot chocolate with the whipped cream was really good and so was the carrot cake. The staff was very nice and friendly, I definitely recommend!
