This restaurant offers reasonably priced and speedy service. I ordered the dinner for one, and it was surprisingly more than enough for two servings! I had the pepper beef with sauce, rice, and two spring rolls. Everything tasted very fresh and was served piping hot! I highly recommend it for a quick takeaway option! View all feedback.
What Stephen Daly dislikes about Maxim's Chinese/thai Takeaway:
The food was extremely disappointing. I ordered yuk sung and half a crispy duck. The duck was mostly fat with very little meat, which was shriveled. The Hoi Sin sauce tasted like it had been diluted with rice syrup, and the yuk sung was overly sweet. I would definitely recommend avoiding this place! View all feedback.
Worst chow mein ever i reckon, simply gross. Congealed fat, tasteless noodles and soft, defrosted veg. Is there a soy sauce shortage?? Half expecting the trots from the bit i tasted. One star for the smile at the counter, clearly knows not what they do..

I would not recommend this restaurant. Two of us ordered food and ended up feeling sick for hours.
