for pint and stayed all night, was a great night and must say the barman went over and beyond. should be really proud. had a good laugh and met some really nice people during the football, horse racing and golf were on. will be defo again View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Briodys:
In my personal experience as a Dubliner who enjoys visiting historic establishments, I found that the elderly gentleman working at the restaurant was very rude and unwelcoming. I quickly finished my meal and left. The other customers were lovely, but it seemed like those who were regulars or known by the bartender were treated better. View all feedback.

First pub I went to for a Guinness in Ireland, met with a warm welcome. Nice pub, lovely pints, great characters in there and I hope to come back again soon.

read moreThough some visitors reported unwelcoming service and exclusive treatment based on accents, Briody's Pub is highly recommended by locals and regulars for its friendly atmosphere and authentic Dublin experience. Located off the beaten track but close to O'Connell Street, this pub offers a great pint of Guinness and a true taste of Dublin. Visitors looking to avoid tourist traps like Temple Bar should give Briody's a try for a genuine Irish pub experience. Despite mixed reviews on service, the overall consensus is that Briody's is a must-visit spot for those looking to immerse themselves in Dublin's local culture.
Great atmosphere. Great mood. Greetings from Germany LordofKerry
