The woman at the counter appeared to be experiencing a difficult time in her life. I mean this in the kindest way possible, but I was taken aback by how hostile and aggressive she was for seemingly no reason. She was curt and abrupt with my colleague, who I have known for nearly 20 years. Turned into this place because of earlier favourBle reviews I am happy to confirm. Don’t be put off by the approach it really is a tea room with a lovely view and the most interesting savoury food. Strongly recommended. View all feedback.
