Carmela's Pizzeria Cafe Deli

Great food. their pizzas are great. perfect crust and tasty cheese. we are also a big fan of her penne a la vodka. the sauce is amazing. the little ones like to share the cheese ravioli. during the pandemic we came to eat once a week. great place.

We have loved Carmelas since they first opened. We have gotten their take out and it’s been delicious. Until this last time.We always order basically the same thing. My husband gets the spaghetti , my son gets the pasta dish, my great grandson cheese pizza and I have tried other dishes there but my all time favorite dish is Eggplant Parmesan.We were really disappointed with our dishes. The eggplants cheese sauce was not what it once was. The spaghetti my husband the sauce wasn’t either. We didn’t finish eating it.

Service was great. They did a half and half pizza for us with different sauces. The pizza was delicious, although pepperoni was not added to the Margherita half of the pizza as requested. Staff was very friendly and personable. (Photo was not taken at Carmela's)

We visit Carmela's at least once a week and it is so consistent and delicious! Their pizzas, pastas and salads are awesome and they offer gluten free pasta which is very good!

Great place in the hill country. The staff are always friendly even when they are crazy busy. Good comfort food!
