What User doesn't like about Jake's Pizza:
The pizza was decent, but I found the "big" pizza to be on the smaller side; we're accustomed to a large pizza being 16 inches, not the 12 inches that appeared to be more like a medium. The wings were cooked well, but they didn't stand out. I feel bad saying this, but given the amount we spent, I expected much better quality and quantity of food. I'm glad we gave it a try! Pizza was very good. crust and teig was soft, but crispy. I'm back. Sausage was fantastic!
Not bad, the pizza crust and sauce combined have this really earthy, burnt taste to it. And yes, that's a good thing! What's not good is that Jake's Pizza has no storefront sign outside. I just stumbled by it!
We ordered a pizza there last night and it was disgusting! It was all dried up and we couldn't eat it. We will not order from there again. The Friday night music was going on and I think the pizza was made much earlier that evening.
I love this place! I ordered a double pepperoni small pizza and a large, I'm sorry I ordered a small chef salad which appeared to be large. The food quality is fantastic and like I just said, the small appeared to be large. So that says something about their food. I would like to post pictures of the food that I ordered right now, accepted it I already ate it. Next time I order I'll be sure to take photos and then we'll go from there. Good value good food good service and they're friendly as well. If you're ever in Doylestown Ohio, stop in at Jake's Pizza.
