Contribute FeedbackAnthony's Cucina Fresca has received mixed reviews, with some diners praising the attentive service and delicious food, while others have experienced slow service and understaffing. Despite some setbacks, many customers highly recommend the restaurant for its Italian cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Specialties like steamed clams and mussels in marinara sauce and Lobster stuffed raviolis have been particularly popular. Overall, Anthony's offers a wide menu selection at affordable prices, making it a top choice for those looking for a "real" Italian dining experience in Downingtown.
Wife and I enjoyed the authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere. She has the lobster ravioli and I have the squid color and lobster paper. We have the brush for a starter. The food was amazing! The service was great and the place was very clean. 5/5 would dine again!
The whole food was so delicious! The Calamari and bruschetta were so delicious. The Caesar salads were fresh and the dressing was so good. I also ordered Danny's Signature Filet Mignon, Italian Style for my duck and it was amazing that the meat was perfectly cooked. Cocktails also delicious!
We arrived last night for a birthday dinner for two of my children (see Saturday night). That was my second time and I only have amazing things to say about the entire experience. The food was delicious and our waitress, Danielle, was absolutely amazing!!! She was attentive, friendly, fast and overall an example of how stellar customer service looks! Danielle, you deserve a raise! Thank you for making part of our experience so wonderful. I look forward to coming back and hoping to see you when I do. Very recommended!! I'd show pictures of the food, but it didn't last long enough at the table... we've swallowed everything!
Great Italian restaurant for the area! You have a huge menu with so many possibilities. I think their choice of putting the menu on an intermediate shelf is simply annoying. You turn back and forth through 30 pages and it doesn't make any sense. We ordered the filled figs, Prosciutto and Mascarpone app. Besides the burrata and the signature salad. I absolutely loved the apps! The figs were so delicious and creative! The salad sizes were perfect and so delicious! The other was the laying for the ducks. It was strange how she painted balsamic glaze on each plate and totally unnecessary. We ordered the penne with shrimps in vodka sauce. My friend thought it was pretty fat. The shrimps were hard to eat as it was on the bowl, so plan to break shrimps with the plate. I ordered the spinach extract, which was also quite fat, but otherwise very delicious! The mushroom risotto was the best duck, but it had whole herbs in it, which again, unnecessary. I would come back and others recommended to try the restaurant! These little details are easy to edit and I really hope they do.
I'm from California and there's a lot of good places to eat out there. But this was the best pasta I've ever had, the flavor, the presentation of the plate And the service hands down this is the place to go if you're ever in the area. Can't wait to come back
