The Zetland Arms - Dover

This is a hidden shade for me .. I am am amazed that I never knew of it. I had ribeye tonight and I have to say what I had eaten. this food is cooked with love and passion, and the quality of eating was all in taste. what more can they want if it is all cook to excellent. now for the atmosphere, it was quiz at night and our table was in the middle and we were the only ones who did not in quiz and I loved it. we were greeted when we lived there. this is a pub that offers real locals the same hospitality as if they were a local. the natives made them local and welcome. there are not many pubs like this . the personal .. brilliant. can refer to all wavelengths and ages I appreciate. this pub is a must and shows genuine local spirit .. I had a successful free house that served excellent eating. I know a good pub when I find one. I also believe that they see their dogs as family and they are welcome what is the icing on the cake. behave as well as dogs I'll add.

Relaxing atmosphere in a family friendly pub. there were many helpful and attentive employees. the food we had was plentiful and excellent, my steak was cooked as I like. the only easy part is that the pub is tied to shepherd neame, so sells only her beer that is not my favorite and hard to escape in kent.

This was our first visit, but definitiw not our last there is a good selection of beer caught as and the oldest . we had the steakburger and chips, which my wife had a chicken chinken and cheekcake both were a good part and very nice. worth a visit.

Had a delicious lunch here yesterday, eat nicely cooked and presented. I had the bier broken cable and was the best I had! my friend had the psychic she loved! nice friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Ate here 2 nights running as it is such a lovely place. Wonderful setting. Staff really friendly but bit overworked (we never got our tap water and gave up waiting for sweet menu). Food fantastic. My brother in law had the skate both nights saying it was the best ever. Pies tastes homemade. You will need to book as it gets booked up. If you can't get in pop into The Rising Sun next door. It is owned by same people. Menu not so extensive but a good alternative
