Blossom Street Diner - Dos Palos

Just had dinner here- so good. The bacon cheeseburger I had was delicious. This was a restaurant class burger, favorably comparable to a Red Robin,etc. Every component of my burger, from the green leaf lettuce, juicy tomato, crisp red onion and crunchy dill pickle was as fresh as I could expect. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly- just crispy with none burned. I've eaten here many times before and had similar experiences with their new York strip and ribeye meals. Breakfast is always pleasant too (I like the $7.99 steak and egg special- is got all the breakfast trimmings). Staff is attentive but not bothersome- my drinks never run dry. Interior decor may be kind of dated, but it is appropriate consider this is a neighborhood diner. Their menu is diverse, and features a surprising number of well crafted choices considering the location, and the prices are a very reasonable, even compelling reason not to drive to Los Banos for a dinner out. Definitely a place that deserves patronage.

New Management helping the restaurant, and the menudo on the weekend is the best!
